Subsidies

There is often uncertainty about the provision of subsidies.  What are you entitled to and what are the conditions required to qualify?  

The government encourages investment in energy conservation.  There is tax relief for investments in energy (EIA), an allowance for the production of renewable energy (SDE) and government contributions for the purchase energy efficient technologies (including renewable heating)  However, there are specific conditions that apply in order to be eligible.  Timely research, before you invest, is important.
